Why do one?
Neighbourhood Plans enable communities to take the lead in producing part of the statutory development plan for the area. Crucially, unlike a Parish Plan, these Neighbourhood Plans must be used to determine planning applications in a neighbourhood area.

Plan Start Up
The Parish Council agreed to support a group of residents who were interested in producing a Neighbourhood Plan for the village at an Extraordinary Meeting on the 22nd January 2015.
Councillor Simon Bell volunteered to lead the process on behalf of the Parish Council.
The application for the Neighbourhood Plan was submitted in February 2015.
