A Message from Monica Hockenhull
The scheme to build houses on the paddock opposite The Gate Inn has now been dropped. Instead, arrangements are being made for the paddock to be transferred from the present owners to Nottinghamshire Community Foundation on the condition that the paddock remains as a green space for all time.
This very generous decision on the part of the owners, Mr & Mrs Innes, is to be applauded by all.
Plans are afoot to enhance what is already a pleasing site by further plantings.
