ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: “Holy Communion” will take place at the local church on Sunday 15th November.

The service starts at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.

WANTED!: Do you have any unwanted cuddly toys that require a good home? Then the Village Hall committee are waiting to hear from you!

In fact anything cuddly will be considered as we plan our theme for the Christmas Market taking place on Saturday 28th November. Ring (01777) 705 060 for collection.

PARISH COUNCIL: The Parish Council will hold their monthly meeting on Wednesday 11th November in the Village Hall at the usual time of 7:00pm. Council chairman Ron Beare invites Parishioners to join him and his fellow councillors on the night.

VILLAGE SHOP: Most residents are probably aware that Pick’s General Store will close at the end of business on Saturday 14th November after serving the village for the last 20 years. Villagers wish the owners Mark and Jane Pick a long and healthy retirement.

BURNS TEAM: The Burns Team held their first meeting to discuss and format a policy for this popular forthcoming event.   This is scheduled to take place on Saturday 24th January 2016. Further updates will follow.

MEET THE NEIGHBOURS: The group met on Tuesday 10th November at the Gate Inn at the usual time of 1:00pm. A report will follow when to hand.

SUTTON APRIL CLUB: The April club continue to meet every two weeks in the village and full details are available from Group Leader and organiser Carole Head on (01777) 705 077.

PARISH COUNCIL: The Parish Council normally meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the Village Hall. There is a public participation period and all residents are welcome to attend.
