COFFEE MORNING: Another successful coffee morning was held in the Village Hall last Saturday 6th April run by regular hosts Brian and Kathryn Seddons and friends.
During the session representatives from the local Neighbourhood Watch team held a property marking session, showing the latest techniques in safeguarding valuable property and personal possessions. The local PCSO Dave Airey was on hand for help and advice and District Councillor Liz Yates was also in attendance at the event.
ST.BARTHOLOMEW’S CHURCH: On Sunday 14th April a “Sung Eucharist” will take place at the local church. The service commences at 9:30am and everyone is welcome.
POSTAL SERVICES: The Post Office in the Village Hall will be available as usual on two occasions each week. On Mondays 9:30am – 1:30pm and on Thursdays 9:00am – 1:00pm. The local office can supply residents with : Pensions, Foreign Currency, Travel Insurance, Car insurance, investments and Savings.

VILLAGE HALL UPDATE: Work continues in the servery area, further upgrades will take place during the week, whenever possible between letting periods.
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE: The next meeting of the Sutton and Barnby Moor WI will take place on Wednesday 17th April 2013.
At the April meeting of the group, members can look forward to speaker Lily Davis on the subject of Forensic Archaeology. A full report will follow.
A few vacancies exist within the group old and new members and bona-fide guests are always welcome.
